Amenities

Green Space
To live in Redwood Meadows is to live in a park. The Townsite is built in the trees next to the Elbow River. Green space is closer than your neighbour's house.

Playgrounds
Redwood Meadows is lucky to have a large active group of volunteers who have done a wonderful job of doing recent upgrades on all three playground areas.

The Curtis Parkarea is the largest of the three and is situated in the middle of town next to the playing fields and the community center. Two different types of recycled rubber products as well as pea gravel have been used to surface the play areas. The Hidden Playground is tucked away in the trees between Sleigh Drive and the berm. TheX and O Playground is half way down Redwood Meadows Dr. next to the tee box on the 3 hole of the golf course.

Outdoor Sports Facilities
The sports facilities here in Redwood are geared toward active outdoor fun. The soccer fieldsand baseball diamond are next to the skating rink. Just beyond the rink are the basketball and two tennis courts as well as a frisbee golf. For those that like to run there are pathwaysalong the top of the berm and through the bush by the river. There is also a 5 kilometer path that leads into the Hamlet of Bragg Creek that is great for running and cycling. The Redwood Meadows Golf Club also winds it's way through part of the town. In winter there is cross country skiing along the berm, down the edge of the golf course and in near by Kananaskis Country.

Other Services
Redwood Meadows is a fully serviced community. We have an emergency services / firehalllocated next to the Redwood House. All of the power, cable, and phone lines are run underground. We have our own water and sewer system, no well's or septic systems. The fully paved road ways are kept free of snow in the winter and there is even a local publication "The Chatter in the Woods" to keep you up-to-date on local events and news.
