What is the Recreation Area Master Plan (R.A.M.P)?
PROJECT HISTORY
In 2009, a need was identified by Town Council, the Redwood Meadows Community Association, and members of the community for a long range plan to guide the future development of parks and recreation in Redwood Meadows. In May 2009, Town Council approved the creation of a separate committee that would help facilitate the development of a Recreation Area Master Plan (R.A.M.P).
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This separate committee is referred as to the R.A.M.P Committee. Its’ role is to research ideas, make recommendations, and present options to Town Council and community residents about infrastructure and programming requirements to meet the present and future needs of our community.
ACTION PLAN
Over the next couple of months the R.A.M.P Committee will present the Master Plan to the community. Public open houses will be held to present the design ideas and feature components of the plan, as well as gather community feedback. Residents are encouraged to attend the open houses, get informed and provide input. Help us create a long range plan that will sustain the future development of parks and recreation in Redwood Meadows.
